As part of the fundraising efforts of a group of young people from Belgrade English Language Theatre (BelTheatre, Serbia) www.beltheatre.org to fund themselves to participate in a theatre exchange programme in Antwerp, Belguim I will run the equivalent distance from Belgrade to Antwerp over the course of the next 30 weeks:1487km. Starting next week I will keep you informed of my mileage progress and how you can contribute to our fundraising effort, 56 km per week. You will be able to follow my progress here and leave messages etc via the facebook page. 

The young people in question are between the ages of 16 to 18 and are no strangers to fund raising efforts, last year they raised the money to get themselves to Prague and this year they are off to Antwerp to work with www.englishyouththeatre.be 

There is no set target to what I want to raise and this funraising site will be open until the date of the trip at the end of April. The total the group are trying to raise is 2500 euro to pay for travel and  accommodation for 11 young people and staff. I hope my efforts here will go some way to making this target a reality and any contribution will be most gratefully received.

I am a recent regular runner and have every confidence I can pull this off in the time, however if in the case of any unforseen problems (injury etc) I will continue to run after the trip to reach the km limit.
