Wow where to start. Never thought I would find myself writing a begging letter. 

I was diagnosed with a rare head and neck cancer a few months ago and went private as the NHS wait could have meant I would die. I am still alive and doing well but now have large medical bills. 

I am now receiving the remainder of my treatment via the NHS..... but the stress of having a credit card debt whilst not at work as still recovering is worrying .

I appreciate it was my choice to go private for the start of my treatment and the bill was over £10k . I used savings and my family help to repay most of it and as I am unsure if I will be returning to work any donation would be so grateful.

I say I had a choice to go private but in reality I didn’t .... the alternative doesn’t bear thinking about.

What would you have done ?
