Raising funds for the Professional Cricketers Trust

The PCT supports cricketers and ex-cricketers in times of hardship or ill-health. The World's Best Cricket Club was created to help raise vital funds

The World's Best Cricket Club (WBCC) connects fans of the game with many of its finest and most famous players, ex-players and characters.

Since October 2020, we've run a weekly virtual event with guests interviewed by Simon Hughes (The Analyst and editor of The Cricketer magazine) and Simon Mann (BBC TMS commentator).

Greats present and past have generously given their time to offer thoughts, insights, stories and take onscreen questions from the online audience.

Who are we talking about? Think Joss Buttler, Stuart Broad, Sir Geoffrey Boycott, Joe Root, Heather Knight, Isa Guha, Marcus Trescothick, David Gower, Darren Gough, Dinesh Karthik, Jonathan Agnew, Sir Alastair Cook, Alex Hartley, Kate Cross, Paul Collingwood, Sunil Gavaskar, Chris Woakes and many, many more.

Here you see some of the events that have happened: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXcx2boKeCuzQURr7Fw5HvRPxJdbkI7XL

Ultimately, the mission of the WBCC is to raise money for the Professional Cricketers Trust
Every contribution, big or small, helps them do their incredibly valuable work of supporting players and ex-players in times of hardship or ill health.

If you love your cricket, you'll love WBCC events (and the always lively WhatsApp group that accompanies it). Thank you for reading this and thank you for any donation you care to give.

Rest assured, it will help make a huge difference to someone's life.
