Help Us Ramp Up the VOLLY!

We’re making some big changes at the Volunteer Tavern. The kitchen’s coming out to free up space for a ramp to improve access to the bar and the toilets for anyone using a wheelchair or mobility aid.

Right now, the layout makes it hard, or impossible, for some people to move through the space. We're fixing that.

This work will make the pub easier to get around, safer, and more welcoming for everyone.

All donations will help cover the cost of:

• Removing the kitchen
• Building two permanent, compliant ramps
• Improving general accessibility throughout the space.

Breakdown of costs:

Planning: Architect, structural engineer, heritage docs etc £4,100

Demolition of kitchen: electrician, gas work, builders, clearance etc £12,600

Construction of ramps and new lower tier paving: £3,200

T shirts £2450

Total = £22350
