Volly Ramp Up - Project Closed

Hello all you wonderful people 

Thank you so much for backing our project to try to make the Volly pub more accessible and a better space for all. 

Unfortunately the Council have come back with a pretty resounding "no" to the idea of knocking down the kitchen and we can't afford to do much else with the space at this moment. For the time being, we're renting it out to a Volly friend (Zach what runs the quizzes) who will be cooking up some delicious lasagne in there. 

Although this project will not go ahead, there were still some big costs to the business, which your pledges have helped to cover. This includes the planning fee, architects fee and the structural engineers fee, all of which are necessary just to get the project to the planning department. The £1165 you've pledged helped towards those costs which is much appreciated, and regardless of the success of the project, we will still be printing up some t-shirts to everyone who has donated £30 or more. For those amazing backers who pledged for their name on the wall for the new project, we will make a little sign with your names on it saying "Friends of the pub" and hang it up, so your contribution is still recognised.
