News and rewards!

June 2016

Wow, have we got news for you!....

This week we launched our first supper club “flavours of Iran”
30 guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal at the Station Kitchen, cooked by our Iranian chef Zahra, who presented her food with stories of her homeland. Her memories were both moving and inspiring - words and flavours which will stay with our guests for years to come. Our guests arrived as individuals and left as friends, with a few more numbers on their phones!

Our next supper club! Flavours of Burma, Tuesday 12th July, 7.30pm
Let us take you on a journey through Burma, and the flavours, stories and memories behind it: Burmese, and Bristol-based Chef Petunia will showcase and talk about her delicious South-East Asian dishes she's cooked for you, weaving her heritage and memories into her beautiful food.

To book your place, click on the link and select "Ticket for "Flavours of Burma" supper club" in the "rewards" section
on the right-hand side of the page. Tickets are £25 per person

"Food, whether with family, friends or strangers promotes unity between people of all nations, cultures, religions and backgrounds. Food is something which promotes life in all its various guises." Jess – a guest at our supper club

Corporates
We’ve been approached by several corporates in the city who want us to work with their teams both in Bristol and their other sites around the UK.
We’ll be leading some fun and thought provoking workshops during their diversity weeks and firing them up to volunteer and connect with our communities.

Schools
We’re also talking with schools as they recognize and celebrate the incredible heritages of their students, working with their parents to create groundbreaking events, for the school and the wider community.

Stories
Bristol is an incredible city – we’ve even discovered a few more languages than the 91 we’re based on! Our stories start with food and extend to life, love, family, tragedy and celebration. And this is why we’re so passionate about what we do: we're making real friendships and connections with each other – bringing Bristol together and making it an even more beautiful place to live.
