Better Food

Better Food is an independent organic food store and café, with three sites across Bristol. Established by Phil Haughton in 1992 as an organic delivery service, it originally operated from a warehouse in St Werburghs, Bristol. We moved to our first permanent location in the Proving House, also in St Werburghs, in 2003. In 2010, we opened our second store on Whiteladies Road, and our most recent addition at Wapping Wharf – Bristol’s new indie food and drink quarter – in July 2016. Better Food’s ambition is to support local and rural communities through responsible and thoughtful retail. We pride ourselves on stocking local, organic and ethically-sourced products and on being a force for good in the communities we serve.
