Although inclusion is the aim, in society we are a long way from meaningful inclusion for people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in all aspects of our community, both social and economic.

Our overall aim is to develop the Bishopston, Cotham, Redland and St Andrews  area  as a  model of best practice as a truly inclusive community. By this we mean that our children can access all the opportunities available to non SEND children in their local area, including clubs, play schemes, community events and activities, work experience and and job opportunities. We want to work with local businesses and groups to work out ways to best support this to happen. This is a wonderfully community and we believe that the goodwill is there to enable this to develop.
