On behalf of the Bristol Festival of Literature team, just a quick update to say THANK YOU!
Our 10 days of literary loveliness were great fun with the events being well attended, many sold out.
The team are meeting this week to discuss what went well, what didn’t go so well and what we could do next year.
We hope you enjoyed the events.
If you have anything to add, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from the people who supported us.

Hi All
So, it's just under a month until the Festival and we’re all dashing around doing the last minute organising, preparing the publicity and confirming details with everyone.
We’ve sourced our tote bags for the goody bags and are collecting lots of lovely things to go in them.
We’ve made some decisions about out Bristol Festival of Literature T Shirts and we’ll email those who’ve pledged for one of these separately to get your size.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported the crowdfund for Bristol Festival of Literature.
We didn't quite reach our £1,500 target but we got really close - the final tally coming in at £1,406 - just £94 short.
We should still be able to afford to do all of the things we want to do – fingers crossed we get some good ticket sales on the doors at the events to make up any shortfall.

We've passed the £1,000 mark but there's still a way to go and 6 days left.
A big Thank You to Silverwood Books who've given us a big boost by agreeing to sponsor the festival.
Silverwood and our other sponsor, Tangent Books will be sharing some of their wisdom and advice in the publishing industry at the Bristol Book Bazaar event on 17th and 18th October, where you can also meet local authors and buy local books.
