Dear friends, we are excited to share with you that Mexican athlete and also one of the leading characters in El Gran Salto will compete in the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020 in high jump. After recently breaking the Mexican record with 2.1 meters, placing him at the 31st place on the world's top ranking.

On the other hand, his brother Luis Rivera, a long jump ex athlete, will be a main sports commentator of athletics in TV Azteca, so he will be historically narrating his own brother's competition.

Hello everyone! Sorry for being absent this last couple months regarding the updates to our film "The Jump" (El Gran Salto) around here.

We got news to share with you. After our premier in Monterrey Film Festival in August 2019, we also got the opportunity of participate in some festivals around Europe:

Thank you for believing! We are proud to announce that "The Jump” which was possible thanks to you, had its world premier at the Monterrey International Film Festival a couple of weeks ago, being the most awarded film in the festival.

We were granted:

  • Audience Award for Best Mexican Feature Film.
  • Jury´s Mention.
  • The Art Kingdom Award for promotion.

We hope we can share the film with you soon. Thank you so much for believing in us and making this film possible. We’ll keep you updated with upcoming screenings and festivals.

The Jump Update... We are Back!

Hello my friend! 

Sorry for being so absent this last months regarding the updates to our project "The Jump" (El Gran Salto) around here. I got news... We are back!!

Two years after completing production, we are glad to announce that we are starting postproduction as I write to you guys. Fortunately we were granted the Mexican tax credit stimuli EFICINE, with with we will be able to complete the film!

The campaign is ending / La campaña llega a su fin

Dear backers and friends,

There are not enough words to thank you for your contributions to the project. Your support is the energy that keep us working on it every day. Unfortunately the campaign is coming to an end and we will not reach our goal.

As you know this campaign is an All or Nothing project. However, Fundsurfer is offering to us the option of changing the our campaign to a flexible format. This means that, if you allow it, your contributions can stay in the project.

Olympic Mascots and More

Hello!

Thanks again for your amazing support. This past week we made the drawing of Vinicius, the official Mascot of the olympics of Rio 2016. We did it through a Live video last friday in facebook. Congrats to the winner: Ilse Boneo!

So far we are close to $5000 dollars. Our goal starts to seem distant, specially since we are a little bit past the first half of our campaigns time. But we are confident that it is still totally achievable. That is why we won´t slow down a bit with our work, with only two weeks ahead of us. 

The Jump - Week 3

We are on our third week on campaign for El Gran Salto (The Jump). Thanks to your amazing support we´ve gathered so far $2450 dollars. As you can tell, this is not even 10% of our goal. We are confident that the contributions will keep coming, so we won´t stop working for that. To encourage new backers, this week we are making a raffle of Vinicius, the official mascot of the Rio 2016 Olympics, among all new backers that arrive.

Hola! 

Hace una semana que lanzamos la campaña para El Gran Salto. Nuevamente quiero agradecerte tu gran aportación. En verdad ha sido invaluable para arrancar y motivar a más gente a que participe en este proyecto. 

Hemos visto mucho interés en apoyar a que la película sea una realidad. Pero también nos hemos dado cuenta de que poca gente conoce en realidad cómo funciona una campaña de Crowdfunding. Quizá esa sea una de las razones por las que no se han animado a hacer una aportación.
