Who are we?
The Bristol Music Show is a collective that supports and celebrates the vibrant and hugely diverse musical talent in Bristol.
For the past year we've been broadcasting a weekly radio programme on BCfm Radio 93.2 where we feature live acoustic sessions, interviews and discussions about the local music scene.

What are our plans?
After such an overwhelmingly positive response to the radio show we've decided to turn things up a notch, and this autumn we're launching our first ever show on Made in Bristol TV. The aim of the show is to give local musicians a new platform to perform and promote themselves whilst entertaining viewers with interactive features, reports from local events and live sessions through a laid back and fun half hour programme. We also plan to put on gigs around the city and continue to use the #BMS brand on various platforms creating a network for musicians and music lovers in Bristol.
BCfm is a community station and we're all volunteers. BMS are an inclusive collective who are all heavily emersed and proactive in the local scene. We've been working super hard on this project so we can delight your eyes as well as your ears!

So...what will we spend the money on?
Well, it takes a fair bit of time as well as some fancy equipment to make a TV show and record live sessions. At the moment we're just about managing to beg, borrow and steal the things that we need.We don't have much. These are the things we get straight away:
- Lapel mics (this helps you to hear us properly and we can gesticulate without throwing mics around!)
- Professional Lighting (we're currently using lamps from home and whatever lights are screwed into ceilings!)
- Lenses (for improved image quality, particularly in low lighting situations like gigs/interior evening shoots)
- More cameras (because sometimes 2 just ain't enough..)
- Our own microphones + mic stands (so our musical friends don't have to keep lending out theirs to us at inconvenient times!)
- A sound board (as above)
- To pay our debts (for example, we need to pay the wonderful Nick Kelly who designed our logo - www.must-design.co.uk)
We also give up a lot of time to work on the project, missing opportunities for paid work, so to be able to pay the volunteers a small wage would be amazing.

What do you get out of all of this?
By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign you'll not only receive a pretty cool prize, but you'll also be helping to sustain The Bristol Music Show as a brand, supporting the local music scene and keeping you entertained and up to date through radio, TV and by hosting gigs.
The TV programme will start airing in October, working on zero budget until the funds have come through on here.
As mentioned, we also plan to put on a series of gigs around Bristol (anything we love, from Metal to R&B) and of course we'll continue broadcasting on 93.2fm every Monday evening from 8pm.

So, please do check out our offers and donate what you can... We've got some amazing prizes from some of the best brands, festivals, promoters and venues in the city and we are so thankful to all of them for supporting The Bristol Music Show.
PLUS.. as an extra THANK YOU we'll be putting on a private party for supporters of our Fundsurfer campaign once it's coming to an end!

Thanks for stepping by our page and we hope you enjoy the outcome.
