    An update for Taste MAKOSSA Chilli Sauces...

    Hi everyone,

    Just to say thank you once again for all your support and let you know what's happening.

    Even though we still have a long way to go, we're so fortunate that some people have chosen to make a direct donation or buy materials for the business so with all your help we have been able to get up and running. Thank you so much.

    We are currently selling the sample jars £2 (Makossa Original) and keeping the main jars and other flavours exclusive to the campaign. We'll be fully operational hopefully by the end of February by which time we would like to close the campaign. We will then be offering the full range of the sauce to the public and businesses. 

    We are planning an exclusive gathering soon and we will keep you posted.

    Fundsurfer have been very supportive and will soon be processing all your pledges - this will be at the end of the project and will be sending us your contact and pledge info - we will then be able to fully give you your reward. In the mean time, please do contact me if you want or need more information about the reclaiming your rewards.

  • One day left to go!

    An update for Bristol Refugee Rights Advice Service

    Hi everyone, we have just one day left for our Advent Campaign, we are still short of our target so one last push from our side! 

    Huge thanks to everyone that has pledged so far, we currently have £17,691 pledged of our £29,000 goal from 273 supporters which is 61% raised of the total.

    We are working on every angle we can to secure additional funding for 2019 and beyond. 

    Elinor Harris who manages the team of staff and volunteers at BRR explains about our Advice Service:

    “People who have experienced war, persecution and trafficking have nowhere else to go to get advice on these issues. It is essential for Bristol that we are able to keep open. If we can’t raise more money we will see an increase in homelessness, poverty and destitution, including for many families with young children.”

    We really appreciate the support, shares and donations, especially over the busy Xmas period, it means a lot to the team. Keep sharing with friends & family and we will see where we can get to by end of the campaign.

  • We have gone past £10,000!

    An update for Bristol Refugee Rights Advice Service

    We have now gone past the £10K mark, thank you all of sharing and pledging, we are standing at £10,598 pledged of our £29,000 goal from 119 supporters which is 37% of our target for our advice service.

    Fantastic effort everyone, please keep sharing! 

    Our advice service is desperately in need of funding to prevent migrants in Bristol from destitution and homelessness

    An update for 91 Ways; help us to continue our work

    Our next supper club is on Thursday 31st January 7pm at The Station, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2AG.

    Our first event in 2019 will feature three-course Italian feast cooked by Claudia.

    The Menu TBC but will include a mix of central Italian dishes to discover flavours of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany.

  • Nearly 100 supporters so far!

    An update for Bristol Refugee Rights Advice Service

    Thanks for sharing everyone! We have gone past £6000 and have nearly 100 supporters. Our Xmas Advent Campaign has a week left to run to keep pushing out as far as we can. We will then continue fundraising for our core cost targets in 2019, enabling us to continue to support refugees coming into Bristol who need support. 

    Today is International Migrants Day. The theme the UN have chosen for this year is Migration with Dignity due to the disastrous loss of life whilst migrating. BRR welcomes the people who survive the journey and come to Bristol to seek sanctuary.   • Over 50 supporters and £3000 milestone hit!

    Thank you all so much for pledging to our project. It means so much! 

    £29k will keep the Advice Service running until May so while we have a long way to go, going past £3000 is a great milestone to hit, please do keep sharing on social media and with your friends & family, it really adds up and helps the project reach more people.

    Thank you !! For all of your support in 2018; without your donations, help at events and support at our supper clubs we couldn't do the work we do!

    Hello all!

    We're happy to tell you that we received our funding and pledges through this campaign and and outside investments! We are moving into new edits of the film and have begun on sound design. The poster is also very close to being finished. 

    We are so thankful for your support and will of course keep you in the loop.
