    An update for Empower Youth Voices

    Hello beautiful people,

    We're very close to the end of the line with just one day to go until our campaign comes to the end.  All pledges need to be in by midnight tomorrow and there is still £860 needed to reach the target.

    If we all work together, I believe that we can smash the target and empower as many young voices in Croydon (and eventually beyond) as possible.  Please could you try and convince at least one person you know to pledge £1, share the campaign on social media and get #PledgeAPound trending.  Also, if you're able to pledge just £1 more, please do.

  • Two Days to Go

    Good afternoon everyone,

    Can you believe that are only two days to go until our campaign comes to an end?  I certainly can't, especially with so much money to raise in such a short time.

    Just over £1000 needs to be raised in order to reach the target and it can happen, but I'm going to need further support from all of you if it is going to be the case.  Please share the campaign page with your friends, family, work colleagues and whoever else you know.  If you can, try to convince them to pledge - even it is just £1, every little will help. I mean, if 1000 people give £1 then I'll make my target.

    Thank you for all of your support and generosity so far, and I hope you can help me a little more over these final few days.

    An update for Upfest 2017 - Street Art & Graffiti Festival

    Evening folks!

    Just dropping a quick line to say 'You did it', we've hit target! AMAZING

    It was a pretty tense few days but every single one of the 450 pledgers help us reach target, special mention to all the artists who've contributed artwork & time, and to everyone that's shared the campaign....

    We'll be in contact by the end of the week with a timeline of when rewards can be expected, some need to be printed, some need to be arranged but we'll keep you updated on progress.

    Thanks again, you really have made a difference to the future of the festival....

  • Final Day Countdown!

    An update for Upfest 2017 - Street Art & Graffiti Festival

    WOW it's been a roller coaster of a few weeks, the support we've seen has been amazing! The tension at Upfest HQ is unbelievable!

    In the last five days we've seen £10,000 of pledges added to the campaign, we're just £3,000 off smashing our target & 16hrs to do it!

    bigUP to every single one of our Pledgers! We just need to ask one more small favour, please share the campaign with your friends and followers, only if we hit target will we receive a single penny...

    bigUP all the artists that have donated their time and artwork to the campaign, all those lovely rewards will only be released if we hit our goal of £20k by midnight to night!

    If you've not checked it recently, theres been a flurry of new rewards added this week....

    Thanks again for being part of Europe's largest & FREE Street Art & Graffiti festival, it truly is only possible with your support and commitment of our festival artists & volunteers...

    There are just 5 days to go and still over £1000 to raise!! Please continue to share our campaign and try to convince at least one person you know to pledge £3 or even £1, because every little does help.

    There are only six days of our campaign left now, so of course urgency is the name of the game.

    I've created a Facebook event, which will make it easier for some of you to spread the word and quickly make others aware of the campaign in the last few days. I'll regularly be uploading videos, images and information to the page as well, which will provide a deeper insight into the work I'm doing.

    After starting the journey back in February, there are now only SEVEN days to go until my crowdfunding campaign comes to an end.

    I'm proud of all that I've achieved in this time and incredibly thankful to all of you for supporting and making a pledge to my platform.  However, I'm going to need your help in the final seven days to spread the word and encourage others to pledge so that I can hit my target.  I'll put my hands up and say that I cannot do it on my own.

    Please send a message to your friends on WhatsApp, send your colleagues an email or put up a post on Facebook.  Any method you choose would be very useful and could make all the difference.

    An update for Prevent Drug and Alcohol Use in 5 Schools Through Performing Arts Workshops

    Hi all!

    Today we have just 7 days left of our crowdfunding campaign! In the last week we are incredibly grateful that our crowdfunding campaign has been featured by Tilt Magazine and UKFundraising! We are so close to hitting out target, and have raised £1,205. 

    Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly on building an organisation that addresses some of the most pressing issues young people face today. 

    By using drama techniques, such as improvisation, hot-seating, story-telling, image theatre, thought tracking, embodiment and empathy exercises, we want to tackle the many issues that that drugs and alcohol can present.

    We cannot express our gratitude in writing for your support. But, with just one week to go, we need to raise a further £295 to turn our project into reality.

    We are once again turning to you for your amazing support.     Good afternoon beautiful people,

    As you may know, it is Mental Health Awareness Week.  I think this week has become all the more important, as mental health is a rising problem that is having an effect on the lives of millions of people, but unfortunately there is not enough understanding around it.

    This month, mental health will be the focus for Young People Insight, starting with next Tuesday's forum.  If you're available, please do come down to Project B from 6.30-8.30pm to join in the conversation about mental health with us.  There will also be some special guests who work in the mental health sector to provide some expertise.
